Shopping Madness..
Yes.. madness.. I think this is the first time I shop so much and bought so many things within 2 months.. 2 months!! haha.. Especially the walking part.. I think I've walked more than 32 km already.. LOL.
Yesterday went out to town with Jason and Xinni again.. They wanted to buy a birthday present for their friend.. whose birthday's coming this saturday.. as for me.. yeah.. hahaha.. just tagged along with them since I've got nothing to do at home.. We looked around the shops at the Heeren's.. and oh, Jason and I were intending to go to Flesh Imps to buy the soccer tees also.. Xinni sort of like the tees also.. haha~ We never bought them immediately though.. haha.. as we decided to see whether there are nicer ones at other shops.. so we went to OG orchard point and then to Plaza Sing. Well.. the reason they wanna go OG was to visit Hwee Keng.. who's working there temporary for these few days.. haha.. nothing much there though.. At Plaza Sing, I bought a jacket at 77th street.. wee .. like it very much.. till then they haven't decided what to buy for their friend.. hahaha.. I think they are more like shopping for themselves.. In the end we went to the Flesh Imps (another branch at PS) again and bought the tees.. and one for their friend.. We rested at Mos Burger then, and chit-chatted.. hahaha.. Xinni's funny..
We bummed around until evening, and went to met Hwee Keng, who's off from work by that time.. We wanted to eat something cheap.. then they suggested Holland V. I had no objections.. but Jason changed the location to Clementi.. for the sake of me.. haha.. cos I have a straight bus home from there.. thanks bro! By the way they live in the west.. so yea.. majority wins. lol. We decided to go IMM then, and believe it or not, I haven't been there for once... LOL. Took a bus down from Orchard to IMM, and god, we stood all the way in the bus.. shagged. Reached IMM, but haven't decided what to eat.. in the end they decided to go KFC to have buddy meals.. DIAOZ.. I was thinking "ORCHARD GOT NO KFC MEH?" Zzz. Ate and chatted.. I think its pretty fun to chat with them.. their lameness.. LOL.. two thumbs up! hahaha. After that we splitted up, and I went home..
Geez.. I thought I was abit outcasted.. but it was their friendly and fun-loving personality that made me feel less awkward.. hah.. new friends! =)
Speaking of friends.. where are my sec school buddies and my JC buddies!! All work work work.. sigh.. Miss you guys already..
Weekend! Most people choose to go out or find something fun to do during this time.. Yet I choose to rest at home.. haha~ Aye.. Suddenly there were so many programmes for me over the week.. so I must rest before another packed week comes again.. Don't wanna fall sick.. Had a good rest at home.. and Father's Day.. my bro and I din really plan out something for him .. sigh.. felt so bad.. but guess wad..? his birthday is coming! So I'll plan out something for him on that day.. Although he doesn't really like to celebrate birthdays though.. lol..
Yesterday went kayaking with Jason and his primary school friend.. Xinni. It wasn't a sunny day.. fortunately. I was awakened by the thunders at 8 am.. And in my mind I was thinking the kayaking session might be cancelled.. and I just fell back on my bed.. lol.. The clock rang at 9 am.. and then the rain stopped.. Thought I could sleep somemore.. haha~ Messaged Jason, and I was thinking he's on his way already.. so I packed my stuffs and went out, without having my breakfast..
Reached City Hall at around 10 plus, and met Jason.. we took bus to Kallang Sea Sports Club then.. It was drizzling.. so cold.. Xinyi wasn't here yet, heardfrom Jason she'll be only coming in the early afternoon.. We rented the kayaks and out we went to the sea.. For around an hour and so.. I was freaking hungry.. haha.. no strength to paddle anymore.. then we decided to rest.. Jason asked if I wanna go out and grab a bite.. but I was lazy.. then asked him to call Xinyi to buy lunch for us.. hah.. She just woke up then.. diaoz.. Since we gotta wait.. we went to kayak again for an hour plus.. And she wasn't here yet! Jason said that she waited the bus for half an hour.. what the hell sia.. stupid bus.. my stomach's grumbling .. a hungry man is an angry man! Argh.. and the corn on the sole of my right foot was hurting so bad.. I was in pain and hungry!~!~! Grr.. waited for 30-45 minutes.. and she came.. our first meeting! haha.. she bought duck rice .. and I just gobbled down the food.. what a relieve... lol.
The whole afternoon we kayaked and nua, kayaked and nua.. haha~ and chatted with them.. The weather was perfect.. breezy and cloudy.. In the evening we went to Chinatown for dinner.. Xinyi had asked one of their friends to meet for dinner, whom I don't know.. She hasn't stopped work yet, so we walked and shopped around at Chinatown.. oh my.. WALKED AGAIN. But suprisingly my back wasn't hurting.. good for me.. We went to meet their friend at her working place.. and yea.. I got to know another girl.. haha~ i think her name's Hwee Keng. We went to this hawker centre nearby to have claypot rice for dinner.. and it was so yummy! ok partly because I was damn hungry also.. lol~ Gosh.. this group of people really got alot of lame jokes.. haha.. but really had fun talking with them.. lol..
Walked around Chinatown afterwards.. the girls went to this indian stall and got themselves a temporary tattoo on their lower leg.. cool.. haha.. they wanted to go to a particular shop for desert.. but it was close on monday.. too bad.. haha.. I went home first then, while they went to fetch Hwee Keng's mother at her workplace.. Tiring day indeed.. slept until 1 pm + today.. hahaha..
I've been tiring myself over the week.. and supposedly I should sleep early the past few nights.... But I didnt. My headache is like on/off.. its not those sharp pain, its kinda like my head is weighing something.. Whenever I bend down my head, I feel the pain.. Zzz.. Mother said its because of the "heatiness". Think I should give myself a water parade every 2 hours...
Yesterday, went out the whole day again.. with a friend.. luckily we didn't really walked alot.. haha~ Because of my friend's urge of singing, I decided to bring him to KTV to satisfy his desire.. haha.. Well.. my throat was kinda uncomfortable in the morning, guess it was the chips I had the night before.. oopz. Oh, and he sings well.. probably one of the nicest ones I've heard.. high pitch sia.. haha.. After that we went to the arcade, and played some games.. had a tea break at TCC.. urh.. basically the whole day, we walked a little, sat from benches to benches .. and chit-chatted.. haha.. Saw Sock Fang and her sweetheart at MS.. She waved at me, but I didn't notice, until she's only a few metres from me.. haha.. sorry ah.. cock-eyed. She asked me if I wanna sing the next day.. I was thinking "urh, probably I'll be the listener tomorrow.." haha..
Had dinner at MS Food Loft.. and my friend was having a stomach upset.. He's in alittle pain (thats what he told me), yet he still ate.. rice somemore! lol.. After that he couldn't take it anymore.. and visited the restroom, while I rest. He was better after that.. then we walked to Millenia Walk.. a place that I haven't WALKED around yet.. lol~ He wanted to visit the Candy Empire, and I din know that there's such a shop.. haha.. and woah, its really an empire.. haha~ The chips there are freaking expensive though.. think the size is abit bigger than Lay's chips .. cost 4-5 bucks! Think the stuffs there are imported from Australia.. that's why the cost is like a bomb. But there you can buy candies and other junks that you'll never see at the common provisional shops.. Cool..
Went home after another session of walk-sit-chat.. Sock Fang messaged me that they're going to JE entertainment centre to sing.. SO FAR. Of cos I din wanna go.. haha.. oh well.. the weekends are for me to REST.

Yawnz.. sleepy sleepy.. even though its only evening now. I must admit that I din really had enough rest for the past few days. I never fell sick though.. lol.. luckily. But my legs are tired, and my back is aye, AYE.... achhhing...
Met with Victor for a swim on Monday. He's one of my BMT buddies too (Jason, him and I were in the same section) He just came back from Australia, after his examination. He disrupted on February to study medicine in Australia, and now he's back.. haha. We met at 10.15 am, and we waited for Jason, who was supposed to come too. In the end he overslept. lol.. He then suggested to meet up with us for lunch later, and so we went for our swim..
During our swim we chatted alot about his life in Australia. Found out that life in Australia is less stressful than in Singapore. The shops there close at around 5 pm, and the school life there is not as hectic as here. Everything is slow pacing. We were saying we should live there after our retirement.. haha~ Swam until noon, and we met up with Jason at J8. Had our lunch and chit chat, but I was like so shagged, cos the night before I watched soccer and slept late.. lol. We hanged around till 2 plus and went home. The rest of the day nothing worth mentioning.
Tuesday we met up again, this time it was supposed to be a gathering of our section after ORD, except for Victor haha. Some were still working, so only 3 of us, again. haha.. We WALKED around AGAIN. Hahaha, I think I'm really crazy.. been walking ard in town for the past 2 weeks!! Shall skip the details.. oh oh.. we played arcade games at PS.. Its been like a year or 2 since I last stepped in the arcade. I played Bishi Bashi with them.. LOL.. fun.. after that we rested at Secret Recipe.. at the same time waiting for Weilun to come. He came at 6 plus, was told that he was having tuition with 2 students at different times.. he then told us after dinner he had another tuition at Whampoa.. wah.. so 'pia'.. Had our dinner at Park Mall after a long decision.. and we headed to Dubler's, an Irish Pub near Somerset MRT station.. Its a cool pub, cos its happy hour starts from 2pm till closing time. The crowd started to come in at a later time, mostly working personels, to catch the world cup soccer match.. South Korea vs Togo.. For us, we played cards and chit chat, until 8 plus, when Weilun gotta rush off for his tuition lesson. After 10 minutes or so, Benjinmin joined us.. haha.. His work ended at 7 plus, thats why he couldn't join us earlier on.. Continued our chit chat and played some lame games.. but we had lotsa fun.. LOL.
Left the pub at around 10.35 pm, and I remembered the match result was Korea leading 2-1, with ard 10 more minutes to go.. lol~ this showed that I wasn't drunk! haha.. aiya.. Din really drink alot.. left for home at 11 plus.. shagged.
My head was a little heavy this morning, but I still went for my usual morning swim.. and guess what? The condition was improved after my swim.. haha~ weird eh? After that met up with my aunt, Aunt Carol, (my father's sister) and mother at J8.. She wanna help me to settle the NUS tuition fees loan. Aunt Carol already reached there 15 minutes earlier, and queued up at DBS bank, but as usual, mother was late again, thus she delayed it.. We waited for mother for lunch.. zz.. The leopard can't change its spots.. thats what I told Aunt Carol. lOl. Aunt Carol treated us at Fei Cui Kitchen, and yeah, I think its my first time having lunch outside with Aunt Carol.. She said "Since you were young, I never had meals outside with you before, therefore, I shall give you a treat." So pai seh. Had our lunch and settled the tuition fees loan at the bank. Aunt Carol left afterwards, and I accompany my mother with her shopping.. again. WALKED AGAIN. Zz. Shopped for like 3 hours, after which we headed home.. She told me that she's tired, then what about me sia? lol.. but overall.. I'm still happy.. why? Cos I don't have to knit cobwebs! lala..
Eepz, gotta rush down to the hair salon to have a trim.. till then!

Blogging at my grandma's place now.. feeling a little regretted staying over. Sigh..
Went to my brother's POP yesterday morning. Had to wake up at 6.30 am.. Its been 2 months plus since I woke up at this time. Worse still, I slept at 3 am. Lol. Okay I deserved it. But I couldn't sleep! Hmm.. okay back to his POP. Didn't really look like a parade to me.. They were like performing a sketch or something. I was like .. "huh..? what's all this?" I didn't really took any photos.. more like, there were nothing much for me to take. 3 months already, and my brother has passed out from his BMT phase. Hope he's ready for his next phase. Besides my mother and myself, my grandma, aunt and my cousins, Andreas and his brother, Glennon, attended too. Geez, I remember only my parents came for my POP.. lol. The weather was weird on that day. It was hot and sunny before we reached the camp. And before 5 minutes the parade started, the dark clouds engulfed the whole sky. The next thing you know -- rain. Gosh I was thinking I could've been in my warm bed, sleeping soundly. Everything ended at 10 plus. And guess what's the first thing I did once we reached home? NO not sleep. I got myself changed first.. haha~ Slept until 3 plus.. still feeling tired.. but couldn't sleep anymore.. So continue to rot until the day fell.
The next day went out with Jason. Finally get to sing.. SING SING SING! Haha sorry, feeling abit over when it comes to singing. I was glad that my voice was better compared to the last time I sang with PW and Kelvin.. But it was tiring.. two of us singing for 3 hours.. haha~ But it was GREAT. Went to walk around again.. WALK AGAIN. We WALKED around at the Heeren's, then to PS. This week is just crazy. Went to town for like three times, to just look and shop around. Well, its way off better than just staying at home, decomposing and knitting cobwebs. Mother suddenly called me, saying that she wanna buy a video camera, and asked me to go check out the shops and the prices.. Sianz.. Why she doesn't want to buy herself? Zz. So we went to check out at PS, but to no avail. Planning to head down to Marina Square after that. It was then when I had a terrible headache. It just happened suddenly. Felt like someone's hammering me. Don't ask me, I don't know the cause of it. Jason asked if I wanna go home after checking out in Marina Square, but I din really wanna go home. I just tolerated with it. I even joked with Jason, telling him to support me if I faint suddenly. LoL. WALKED around in MS, when I finally couldn't withstand it anymore. Went to Guardians to buy Panadol, and we settled down at Long John Silver. Jason had his .. urh.. dinner? (it was around 5pm.) while I got some rest. Thank god for the pain relieving paracetamols, and the rest.. I was "back in action" again. Continued to WALK around in the shopping centre, before deciding to head down to Bugis. We didn't know what bus to take from MS to Bugis, so we kinda WALKED a big round, and ended up deciding to take MRT instead. WALKED through City Link and shopped around at the same time. Bought a shirt at NUM.. Took the train down to Bugis. And I guess I don't have to emphasize anymore.. from Bugis Junction, to Bugis Street, and back to Bugis Junction. It was then my backache's reacting again. Sigh.. Irritating.
Took bus to grandma's place, and yeah, here I am. I was told by my friend that today there's a live telecast of Taiwan Melody Awards.. but I missed it. He then told me its showing the repeated telecast, I was so happy.. went down, switched on the television, and to my disappointment, I found out that my aunt did not subscribe the channel... SIANZ. I should have just gone home and watch.. Zzz.. Bad day for me today. Oh well, guess there should be another repeated telecast. HOPEFULLY.
Walk, walk and walk................
Geez.. I juz woke up at 1 pm.. LOL. I think it was raining at 9 plus am, or was I dreaming? hmm. In my subconconscious mind I was thinking, what a good weather to sleep! So I just continue to sleep.. haven't really slept for around 10 hours for like the past 2 years.. and damn it was great. wahaha.
I was damn tired actually.. yesterday went to town once again, this time with another friend. Watched Over The Hedge at cineleisure, and it was damn funny. Really had a great laugh during the show. After the show, we WALKED around for around half an hour, deciding what to eat. After some considerations we WALKED to Wheelock place. Wanted to eat sakae buffet initially, but we were told that the buffet ended, I was like huh? Isn't the buffet at night? lol. So we just settled down at NYDC. A nice cafe still. After dinner, we WALKED around at Tang's and Paragon. And then slowly, back to Cineleisure.. lol. My backache was kinda bothering me by then, so suggested going to a cafe and rest. We went to the cafe at level 5, where I had my rushy dinner with Kenneth and the others 2 weeks ago. I figured out the name of the cafe.. lol~ Its called Galilee and Friends. Coincidentally, the staff tuned in to Channel 5, which was showing Singapore Idol. So we watched for the whole hour. I was pretty attracted by this Jasmine Tye.. so sweeet looking.. oopz.
After that, we WALKED again.. from Cineleisure to Orchard point, down the Paragon, Lucky Plaza to Scotts, Hanged around in Far East, and then slowly to Lido. Walked walked walked.. lol.
So this is the reason I slept so much. Oh in addition I went for a morning swim too. Haha~
This week is a weird week! I saw so many contestants of all the reality tv competitions on the street. Campus superstars Yiyuan, and Kenneth. Star Idols Alicia (She is so pretttty!) and Bryan, and the two male contestants who enterted the next round in Singapore Idol last week. Oh well, how big can Singapore be? and Where else can we hang out besides Town and City? Zz.

I've been hearing the same sentence over and over again the past two weeks.. Aye.. My swimming regime has done this to me.. haha. Its just 2 to 3 times per week, but coincidentally the weather during those days was sunny usually, and I don't have the habit applying sun block lotion. I like to be tanned, but I guess its abit over. lol. Hey guess what, I'm the new X-men mutant --- the charcoal man! lol ok crap.
Had enough of collecting dust and producing cobwebs in my room, thus decided to go town to walk around on monday. Of cos I've asked a friend to accompany.. Oh.. GSS.. so we shopped around too! lol. Bought a orange singlet and a board short in the end. Orange! lol this is the first time I bought a bright-coloured stuff myself. Wanted to buy somemore, but my friend stopped me, saying that I can still come down anytime.. haha, ya true.
Friends have been asking me," ORD loh, so what you gonna do next?"
Me: "Urh, rest loh, stay at home."
Friends: "Not going to find jobs?"
And my replies are always "No lobangs," or "No point to work for a month plus."
Friends around me are all working, even my female friends too, during their holidays. Geez I hate this kind of peer pressure, compelling me to go out, find work and start cracking. Somehow as the pressure starts to rise, the more I wanna slack. LOL. I just wanna go the opposite way. Seriously during army days, I didn't spend much also. I don't smoke, I don't drink, and I don't club. So I guess this one month plus break I can still survive. I JUST WANNA SLACK. lol.. and oh, somemore I am not going overseas too. SAVE SAVE SAVE! MUM'S THE BEST! (familiar? LOL)
Pretty in bad mood now. This morning so many things just gone wrong for me. I missed a bus, nearly lost my wallet, the zip of my bag loosened... ARGH.. don't talk about it. Listening Cao Ge's songs to smoothen my mood now.
Weekend.. another homely weekend for me.. Watched X-Men III with my family last friday. The plot's kinda rushy for me, but I like the action still. Phoenix is so powerful in the movie.. My goddess.. Tear everything apart into molecules using her mind.. geez.. Somehow the movie isn't really the last X-men movie to me.. You guys may get what I mean, if you managed to glimpse a short clip after the credits. Overall the movie's good, although I don't like some parts of the plot.
Saturday, Had a small barbecue session at my granny's place. They bought so much food.. Satays, chicken wings, prawns, crabs, sausages and chicken thigh meats.. Barbecued with my uncle and brother.. My uncle taught me the art of barbecuing.. lol.. perhapz next time I can help out more whenever there's a BBQ session. My the other uncle, (lol.. okok.. I've 3 aunts and 3 uncles, and of cos they are in pair duh, the one whom I barbecued with is my 2nd uncle), my 3rd uncle, cooked some food too and brought over to granny's place.. So much leftovers after that.. and therefore those leftovers became our supper.. I was full to the max.. lol.. guilty guilty..
Hmm time really flies, next friday my brother's gonna pass out from BMT.. hmm.. he asked me to attend his POP, and of cos, I wanna attend.. besides my mum, he also asked our aunts and cousins.. hmm.. I still remember only my parents came for my POP.. lol..
Sigh.. gotta make some plans for next week.. if not I'm gonna be bored to death.
The day has come!
Today I woke up exceptionally early.. well.. 9 am.. haha.. but this time is considered "exceptional" for me nowadays. Not by any noise, I just woke up naturally, even before my alarm clock rang. Finally the day has arrived.. and I went back camp for the very last time (for this year).. to collect my pinkish IC! I was still tired though.. cos I slept at 3 am last night.. Dragged my feet out of the house and hailed a cab to camp.
Once reached there the first thing I gotta do was to finish my clearance. Okay its a bit last minute I know haha.. Went to see S3, and man I was so fearful. lol.. Luckily he was in a good mood.. and even wished me luck! phew.. some other staff were not around, so gotta wait till after lunch.. In the mean time I packed my stuffs.. Didn't realise I still have so much things to clear even though I brought some of the things back earlier on.. I've seen others coming back camp in a small bag and leaving the camp, relaxed. Man why I din clear it earlier! lol. I was already sweating like mad packing and bringing down my stuffs to the medical centre. Medical centre? You must be thinking why.. lol. Well, some of stuffs were in Fahmi (my senior medic)'s room. Gotta clear them too. Speaking of Fahmi, he wasn't around.. so couldn't bid farewell to him..
Had my lunch at the canteen, and then waited till lunch time.. finished off my clearance in the end, and tada! My IC is back! I was given a certificate of service too.. zz.. like other ORD personels there is a conduct and performance indicator for our service.. range from unsatisfactory to outstanding.. Hmm, I've gotten "Good" for both.. still alright for me.. in the middle of the range.. lol.
Dad fetched me home later, at the same time messaged some of my BMT buddies "ORD LOH!"..
thought of asking them out for a small gathering.. perhaps in a later date.. Well I'm starting a new phase in my life now.. wish me luck!
