Vivo la viva!
thank god there's a long weekend for me to take a breather.. phew.. got my case analysis and lab exercises done.. but I still have some tutorials to finish up! Zz.. Oh well lets not talk about work.. lets talk about today! Haha..
I've met up with Tengyi and Brandon at Vivo City, which is a newly opened shopping centre located beside harbour front centre. Seriously speaking, when I reached the mrt station I almost kinda like got lost, cos the surrounding has changed so much.. looks alienated to me.. hah.. waited for 5 mins before Brandon arrived. We decided to walk around in the shopping centre first while waiting for Tengyi.
The place was huge I must say. It was very spacious.. well.. almost like a 'city'? lolz. Some shops are yet to open, well.. Think the shopping centre will be opened officially during december. Kinda feel lost already.. hah.. walking senselessly in the shopping centre. We were wondering how would Tengyi find us.. lolz.. We walked to the entrance when we saw him walking in.. I was already preparing to pick up his phone.. hah.. We decided to follow him behind, but he saw us still.. hah..
We headed to food republic (yes the same one in Wisma Atria) for lunch.. the varieties seem to be wider compared to Wisma's branch.. Very vintage interface. hahaz. oh not to forget the music too. After lunch, we walked around and explored, then decided to walk to cineplex.. We wanted to watch Dead or Alive.. but the time slot was at the odd timing. Grr.. I guess the show isn't officially launched yet. No other shows appealed to us.. So.. we walked around again.. Tengyi went to draw money and get some drinks, while Brandon and I sat down, rest and talk cock.. hah .. We settled down in Gloria Jean's Coffees.. the ice chiller mocha was nice.. Can recommend friends to go.. hah..
We decided to leave for Dhoby Ghaut then.. Reached there and we walked to Cathay Cineplex.. Hmm never been there before.. so I asked them to explore with me.. haha.. oh and to check if there's a good time slot for DOA... well of cos.. midnite timing again.. zz.. We left the place and walked to selegie to have beancurd.. at 梧槽豆花 shop... hahaz.. nice beancurd they have.. and the you tiao was sedap too.. hah.. sat down and chatted again.. They were like talking about their army life.. but I wasn't that enthusiastic about it.. sigh. Oh well.. that is over for me... don't wish to bring up again... Went home then.. A good day for me to chill out.. before I get back to my studies.. zz..
Last week was kinda alright... well.. hmm.. had a term test.. kinda difficult ones.. project meeting.. work.. sianz.. boring.. Had some pleasant suprises though - Saw Shu Lian at the arts forum, and Chew Ling when I was taking a bus from sch to holland V to meet up with jesmen and tengyi(shall continue with that later). Shu lian was helping out in the fund raising for the kids in Cambodia. I was heading home after a project meeting in the evening, when she saw me. I heard my name called, and there I saw her packing the soft toys. She was kinda suprised too when she saw me.. Long long time since the last time we saw each other.. I think 3 years ago or so? Haha. She din really changed much though.. recognizable.. haha. Btw she was my former sec sch classmate.. in the clique with pei wen, hp and the others.. Again.. the same old question why am I so dark.. hahaz.. chatted awhile before I headed back to bus stop then.
As for Chew Ling, saw her when we were boarding the bus.. Wow she has looked more matured and pretty.. haha.. She was also a former classmates of mine.. sec1 and 2 if i still remember.. Had a good chat with her on the bus.. We were talking about who else from our sec sch is in NUS.. Well.. if we have fate we shall see each other I guess.. hah.. Both of the girls are in science.. Din really see them often though.. heh..
After Chew Ling got down the bus, I went to find Jesmen.. who's in the bus as well.. (FYI, the bus was crowded.. Zz) Oh btw, it was friday, and guess what? It was his birthday.. haha.. Again.. Happy belated birthday Jesmen.. We're meeting, together with Tengyi, to go Settler's cafe. Frankly speaking, it wasn't as fun as the first time I went during national day.. perhaps because there were only three of us.. haha.. played some games, chit chatted, before we left the place, and decided to head down to Chomp Chomp for dinner. Oo I must say the food there is good.. sambal stingray, chili kangkong, satay, slurpz! haha. Oh.. we met up with Brandon as well.. which was after we had our dinner.. We walked to the nearest coffee bean nearby, and I treated Jesmen a cake of his choice.. haha.. had some chat with them, before we headed home..
On saturday, it's my little cousin, Cleaven's 3rd birthday.. After gym and swim with Tengyi, I headed down to J8 to buy a present for him.. Well don't know if he likes anot, but
I guess it shld be useful to him.. happy birthday long long.. (his nick.. haha).. That day I almost shagged out.. lol.. must be the exercises I did that morning..
Well.. to everyone reading up to this point, happy deepavali and selamat hari raya.. ^_^
Arhhh.... another tiring, work pilling week.. anywayz.. happy belated mid-autumn festival.. lolz. This year's mid-autumn festival is a pretty boring one.. the past few years I could still remember my family and I strolling along at the Chinese Garden, and viewing all those big latern displays.. well not anymore this year.. .. Hmm.. no craving for mooncakes as well.. hah.
Alright.. went for another checkup appointment at TTSH again. Cool, now my medication's reduced to 3 times a week.. Doctor said there's an improvement from what he saw from my x-ray, but he said it can't be confirmed.. zz.. might as well don't say it at all. Argh.. another x-ray and sputum test cost me a bomb.. sigh..
Stupid haze has been around for a week plus.. the chao ta smell was everywhere.. as if everyone's having BBQ sessions everywhere. lol.. Couldn't swim for some days.. eepz.. but I could still manage to go gym..
Projects and work have been on-going, and sometimes I felt so lazy to do.. there's a quiz next week.. must really study hard for it, but, the lecturer said it's gonna be tougher.. argh...
