Well.. first and foremost.. happy new year 2008!!

lol.. sounds abit late..

anyways.. it has been a good time for the past few weeks for me.. activities here and there... enough to liven up my holidays..

had a good secondary school gathering on the 23rd december 2007.. other than the usual best pals peiwen, huipoh, kelvin and his gf huiling, chiwai and his gf xiuyun, melvin, yufeng, jj and zhiheng, jia'e and edson made a surprise appearance too this time.. its been years since I last saw edson.. who went back to indonesia after graduation from secondary school.. as for jia'e, haha.. sometimes met her ard in bishan as we stay quite close, and on bus too hah.. had a good catch up with all of them.. sumptuous meal which we all chipped in, fun games and gift exchange! hah.. I guess its so far the biggest gathering compare to other years.. hope this can continue on..

christmas eve was kinda, well.. more peaceful.. went to eat with family, and stayed overnight at gram's.. then on christmas.. celebrate with my family.. and oh.. andreas' 18th birthday too.. I guess the most happy one that day would be my youngest cousin, cleaven. hah.. well cos he had the most presents of all hahah..

26th was another gathering.. TSK TSK.. at jing's house.. haha.. but then tengyi and I were later.. oops.. felt so sorry that we have to make them wait for us till the food turned cold.. nonetheless.. the meal prepared by jing was mama mia! and the cute and yummy brownies too.. she's really a great chef and teacher yea.. hehe.. oh.. knew a new friend too.. jasmine, who is jing's and jo's good friend. hah.. anyways.. it was a great gathering.. and i got tons of chocolates from gift exchanges haha.. the most humorous one would be cx's one.. hersey's big, shit look alike chocolate.. hahah.. it's still in my fridge though.. looking forward to our next outing soon heh..

on the new year's eve, went to meet up with my ex-secondary sch frds again for dinner.. hehe.. best pals.. had our dinner at asabu at central, clark quay.. Jonathan would be coming too.. but only at ard 10 plus..cos he arrived in singapore at only 9 pm from malaysia. I had to leave earlier because I have another outing with tengyi and frds... aye.. sad that I couldnt catch up with him yet.. but the eve was great.. with the beautiful fireworks and the terrible crowd. haha.

alright.. new year has come.. which means another sem is coming too.. sigh.. back to studies again.. my resolution: to get better grades to pull up my cap! haha. and oh.. being more simple and contented this time..

Its been a good break since the end of exams.. christmas is coming.. can't wait for this joyous sharing celebration.. at the same time.. I dun want time to fly so fast... another sem coming again.. argh.. anyways.. just a brief recap for the past 2 weeks..

Went to KL-Sunway Lagoon with Tengyi, Jo, Evan and Shirley.. my first time to KL.. haha.. had fun shopping and playing in Sunway Lagoon.. only bad thing is that the weather wasn't nice at all.. due to torrential rain.. luckily we didnt encounter any flood.. It was a good trip ba I guess.. except during the travel on bus.. where we met a family with kids.. oh man.. kids.. So noisy.. whats even worse was that they were sitting juz behind me.. banging my seat.. screeching.. laughing.. zz.... their parents basically didnt care as much. Spoilt brats.

Had a good catch up with my secondary school ex-classmates.. Sang KTV.. which I had never done so for mths.. and met up at Settlers' Cafe.. Had fun and a good chat.. and we planned for a xmas celebration at JJ's hse too.. Met up with JC ex-classmates as well.. as usual.. the same old few of us.. haha... and again.. we met at Settlers'.. haha.. had a good chat with them also.. bout sch.. life.. work.. .. dull life.. lol..

This sem has finally come to an end.. after I have finished my last exam on the evening before yesterday.. Its been a hectic sem I must say.. with so much work... hmm.. hopefully overall the grades ain't that bad.. hah..

Was studying for my exams for the last two weeks.. prepared so much notes.. well just to make sure I know my stuffs .. hah.. at the same time hoping the time to pass quickly.. and yay.. finally I can breathe.. for a month only though.. lol.. But those two weeks.. It was rather an impact on me.

I could still remember the saturday 2 weeks ago.. I was heading down to gram's place on my dad's car.. he bought the chinese newspaper, Shin Min Wan Bao, as usual.. I took a glance at it.. and saw the headline about the 5 dragonboaters who were, at that time, missing in Tonle Sap River in Cambodia. To my shock, some of the guys whom I saw in Kallang and Bishan gyms before, were among the five of them. It was certainly unbelievable, because to me, they were so fit, and never would I expect them to be involved in this terrible accident. What happened the next few days I don't have to say anymore.. Though I don't know them personally, I still felt sad.. the news report were rather grief-strikening.. Its certain a great loss.. a sudden one.. and it gave me a rather deep impact on my thoughts; Life is really fragile.. one may never know what will happen in future.. so we should cherish our loved ones while we still can.. (well I guess its been said alot of times but this time around, the significance is there..) The dragonboat has a great team work I must say.. and I know for sure.. that the rest of the dragonboaters will carry on the passion that the 5 of them had lived up.. Rest in peace great rowers.. Your names will never been forgotten..


Certainly I've have a different point of view on life.. perhaps I won't be the same Jasper as before in the past.. who knows.

Holidays are here.. yay.. going to Sunway Lagoon in a few hours time .. wee.. excited..
And I wanna meet my secondary sch friends, my JC pals, and other friends too! You guys better be free.. =p hah.. Ah.. better tuck in now.. =)

Pardon me for such a long disappearing act..

been so busy with studies.. and projects..
speaking of projects.. I find that projects are some kinda obstacles that we have to
overcome.. haiz..

I felt helpless sometimes.. or rather..
I felt bad..

hate projects.
no more 5 projects in the coming sems.

exams are coming in less than 3 weeks..
have to work out on one module.. cos I did f*ing badly in
my mid term.. hai.

demostrations and presentations of projects coming up this week..
after which is study and study.. and study..

well.. I'll be back soon.. after all da shi*..

Shall do some updates.. sigh.. been busy with work ..
nonetheless.. still have some time for a little fun.. hah..
nth much'as been going on.. so shall update some highlighted events.

11th September.. no not 911 case.. heh..
had a little birthday surprise for Jo with TSKs clique..
was having evening lesson with Jo and Evan..
Tengyi, Jing and CX prepared this surprise, whereas Evan and I tried to make sure things go smoothly.. welll...... not exactly smooth.. hah..
Evan and I pretended having stomachache after lesson.. and headed down to one of the toilets in University Hall.. but guess she kinda knew what was going on..
the other guys waited at the side of the toilet.. hah.. in the end did try to 'force' her to go into the toilet.. and the other guys came out and gave her a surprise.. heh..
They bought a small cupcake as her temporary birthday cake.. hah..
Sheryl, Jackson and Raymond joined us too.. fun.. luckily we din got chased out by the security guards.. hah.. took some photos, before we left for Breko's at holland V to had some food..

And so move on to the next day, which is Jo's official birthday.. hah..
went to town after school.. Tengyi and CX went to buy the cake first, as well as some birthday forfeit.. haha, whereas Jo and I went around in town.. Yan Guang joined us too.. shopped for my formal black pants.. as I needed that for presentation on the next day.. Met up with Tengyi and CX in NYDC, which is at Wheelock's Place.. Jing joined us too.. Evan wasnt feeling well.. so he din joined us.. had our dinner there, before we headed down to coffee bean to celebrate her birthday.. cake was delicious, and the forfeit.. haha.. she was asked to use her mouth to eat 10 pieces of twisties and smarty candies, which are all covered up by the whipped cream.. lol.. fat fat for her... went to la kopi after that.. had some fun chit chats.. before we left for home...

Alrite.. skip to 15th September.. which is Tengyi's official birthday.. He was flying his way back to Singapore from Sydney that day.. and I planned something for him.. before he arrived at 2 plus in the afternoon.. went to shop for his presents two days before at Marina Square.. bought him a pair of sneakers, a tee, and a bottle.. in addition, Jo sewed a banner with his name on it.. hahah.. pink banner somemore.. that morning we headed down to Little India and bought a garland.. LoL.. guess u guys know wad we're going to do.. Fetch him at the airport of cos! lol.. Funny sight.. especially the expression when he saw the banner we're holding at the arrival hall.. LoL.. his colleagues were all giggling... and the garland.. LoL.. fun fun.. after which we headed down to his house as he had to bring back his luggage.. Jo had fun with his rabbits.. His sister bought him a birthday cake as well.. and we celebrated for him.. hah.. we then left for KTV.. woo.. singing session! fun again.. as well as a good let out.. we headed down to J8 for dinner after that.. Had pizza hut.. hahaz.. coincidentally there was someone else celebrating her birthday too, and there was this birthday surprise by pizza hut.. so Jo went to ask the stuff to give Ty one as well.. haha... so cool.. especially the song played by the restaurant ... lolz.. yummy food too! We then headed to arcade to play some games before we left for home..

yup.. thats about it.. recess for this coming week.. guess can't rest much too..
