Friends..
Hmm.. Would like to share a story that I've heard..The story starts where two good friends were stranded in the desert.
Everyday they walked along, hoping to find a greenland soon, and along
the way, they supported each other.
One day, they had an argument, resulted them in a fight. One of them
slapped the other, which ceased the fight.
At that evening, they pitched a tent and rest. The man who was slapped by his
friend went out of the tent, and decided to write something on the sand. He wrote
"My good buddy slapped me today." His friend saw it, but the silence continued.
They continued their trail, and finally found a greenland.
They came to a small river to wash themselves up, and the man decided to take a bath in the river.
Suddenly, the man had a cramp on his leg,
and struggled in the river. His friend quickly jump into the river and saved him.
After that, he dried himself up, and then used a sharp knife that he always carries, and carved something on one of the stones along the river. He carved "My good buddy saved me from drowning today." His friend became curious and asked him, "why are you doing this?"
He smiled and replied," Remember you slapped me during that arguement? I wrote that on the sand, so that the wind will slowly blow away that matter. And now, you saved me, I want to carve it, so that this matter will always be remembered."
This story wants to tell us that, A true friend may sometimes hurt you because of some misunderstanding, but whenever you are in trouble, he or she will always be there for you to lend you a hand, or support you.
Don't let small matters destroy precious friendships, cause he or she maybe your real true friend standing by you always.
